Futbol Libre 1.2 APK: how to identify the old package

What can be verified about Futbol Libre 1.2 APK

The clearest public record lists com.futbollibre.app and developer 5 Star Web Solutions. It shows April 1, 2023, about 3.9 MB and Android 4.4+. This third-party archive can identify metadata but cannot prove a downloaded file is official, safe or current.

We found no active Google Play page for that package, no first-party release notes and no public chain of official signatures and hashes. This page therefore does not provide a direct APK button.

Version 1.2 is not an update for every Futbol Libre app

Android identifies apps by package and signing certificate, not the label under the icon. Installing com.futbollibre.app over com.nbk.futbollibre, ar.com.futbollibre or com.futbolenvivo.futbollibre will normally create another app or fail as an update.

Our July 16, 2026 check found that Fútbol Libre+ on Google Play uses com.nbk.futbollibre and displays a July 1, 2026 update. Another Play listing uses ar.com.futbollibre, while mirrors associate FutbolLibre App 3.0 with com.futbolenvivo.futbollibre.

How to inspect a version 1.2 APK

Do not trust only the filename or a version number written on a page. Check the Android manifest and compare package, version, size, developer and minimum Android against an independent source.

Keep Play Protect enabled, allow unknown-app installation only for the browser or file manager you use, then disable it again. Do not remove a working app until package and signature match.

1. Confirm that the manifest shows com.futbollibre.app.
2. Compare version 1.2, about 3.9 MB and Android 4.4+ with a second source.
3. Check developer, signing certificate and hash when available.
4. Reject SMS, contacts or device-administration permissions.
5. Treat a changed package or signature as another app.
6. Disable unknown-source permission afterward.

Current screenshots do not show the 1.2 interface

The image below comes from a current public Google Play listing and only demonstrates that different apps now use similar names. It is not a screenshot of com.futbollibre.app 1.2.

A similar interface cannot prove common ownership, signing keys or update history. Return to technical metadata whenever a site uses current screenshots to promote an old APK.

Signs that a file is not the archived package

Stop if the file uses another package, has a very different unexplained size, requires another Android version or requests an extra player. Chained short links, fake warnings and SMS, contacts or device-admin permissions are additional risk signs.

The lower image belongs to another current app. A football screen may look related, but APK identity depends on package and signature.
